Why are so many Eagles fans sore losers, you played well for two and a half quarters before you dropped away.

Just keep playing the kids and you will see more competitive games and wins (North at home).

Good game by Saints but a little disappointed with the goal kicking in the first two quarters.

Just saw that replay of the controversial call again. Part of the ball was obscured by the post so it was a mark to Marshall.

What are they talking about?

It looks the correct call.
The fact play went on for a minute after including kick out and ball was on the wing for a throw in when they said review time. Thats not a rule right? Has to get reviewed on the spot before play resumes

I’m not referring to that part. I’m referring to all those in commentary etc who think the ball was completely over the line, which to me it clearly wasn’t.

Has to be fully controlled before crossing the line, not him just touching it necessarily.

Inconclusive at the most, shouldve been play on

That decision was a 50 50 call. That isnt the issue. The issue is doing the review after play already resumed and calling it back. Never happened before and isnt a rule

I don't have a problem with that. it's West Coast fans booing any free kicks paid against them no matter how obvious they are.
I have no doubt the umpires were neutral today between saints vs eagles lol.

You have No issues with the umpires helping the saints today lol

I thought originally the ball was over the line when Marshall marked it to be fair. That's when I thought if it was a (rushed) behind.

Marshall took the mark with like 95 percent of the ball over the line apparently. That's why it was reversed and was a Marshall set shot.

Then Marshall kicked the set shot goal from that right angle.

Look in the end umpiring has been bad.

I am certain each team has had one bad umpiring decision gone rotten last season.

Seems like umpires are as corrupt as politicians ....

Make that what you will....

It obviously is a rule. Do you really think they'd just make up a rule like that?

Yeah let them have their fun. And I honestly don't know if they're any closer to a flag than we are. Yes, it sucks to be down the bottom for so long, but if you ain't contending, it doesn't matter if youre mid tier or down the bottom for awhile.
Yeah not like any of our young players did anything in our 100 point win over you.

Yeah well I stuck with it in the dockers 2016-2021 rebuild period of no finals.

Take away that horrific 2016 season going 0-10 and finishing 16th with 4 wins and 18 losses.

The other seasons getting 8 or 9 wins wasn't bad.

I mean, if I was forced to tolerate 3 or 4 seasons in a row finishing 16th or bottom 4.... I want at least 6 or 7 wins each year rather than 4.

Give the fans some hope
