Injuries have exposed how bad the shape of our list is. Sanders and Sellwood the only young players showing anything. Freijah, Dolan, Gallagher, Davidson, Emmett, Hynes etc. are all shite. Next 5 years looks grim.

Just some silly mistakes in the third and early part of the last. Could have easily let it get out of hand and the comeback was impressive. Two and a half good quarters at the start, a good 10 minutes at the end but there match winners took the game over for that while we were down

Vandermeer getting hurt was significant. The inclusion of him and Artie was a key point of difference to recent weeks with their ability to break lines.

Happy with the effort but now feels like one that got away, mostly due to dumb mistakes in the 3rd and their midfield getting well on top around the same time.

Everyone expected us to be absolutely decimated out there. It's just really frustrating that we tried as hard as we could to lose it in the third quarter.

Shouldn't have lost it. Just should not have lost it. That third quarter killed us - it was knife through butter stuff.

Freo are still the most bland, nothing club in the comp. Even the Suns and Plastics have more about them.

We seemed to lose all the momentum when Vandermeer went down, his run was super important in keeping the ball moving and not stagnant.

We got a lot closer than I thought we would. Have to be proud of the effort and we had probably 5 VFL players in the team. The disposal cost us a lot at times, and just didn’t take enough chances when we should have converted to goals.
Those red time goals really hurt as well.

Overall still proud of how they fought tonight vs last week. But they could have and maybe should have won it if they had been a bit more composed at times and stopped the ball from getting out when it shouldn’t have.
