Corr, Wardlaw, Duursma, Scott, mcdonald, Urquhart, hardeman, Dawson, Coleman Jones, darling, goater, pink, George, Stevens, Harvey, blamires, banch, hansen jr.

That's a lot off contract and you'd think currently only wardlaw, Duursma, hardeman Dawson, darling (contract trigger?) Would be guaranteed new deals. Still leaves 13 players. goater George blamires all would probably be fine but the rest that's 9 players to replace if they all go taking into account archer returning next year. Worry is how could we get enough draft capital to replace these players whether it be from other clubs (butts, Wilson?) Or from the draft whilst still being mindful also picking up McCartney if he picks us with also Harris and devine

If we finish bottom 5 which looks odds on now, how likely are we to get an extra pick?

Someone
Anyone
Scour the country for someone who has some mongrel in them.
A few extroverts would be nice also

And no more one paced players - our side is full of them - that’s why other sides can chip the ball around with ease.

We should have offered Wilkie $3M last trade week. We're severely handicapped at that end.

It'll cost us more than $3M if we go into next season without a good KPD. Throw some money around.

We're not likely to finish bottom 5. We're a good chance to win 4-6 more games.

GC, WC, Rich, Ess, Port, Saints all very winnable.
saints will beat us , assuming GC was a typo, and ports over there this time, , the rest will be 50/50 so could assume 1 to 2

Bring what we did yesterday, we'll struggle to win another game.

Get back to what we were showing, we'll win games.

Let's be honest. Curtin didn't dominate yesterday (did rag doll Spargo) but he was better than McKercher and Duursma.
Watson and Curtin, or Duursma and McKercher?

There's no way he played better than McKercher.

Has Darcy Wilson's phone number changed the club tried ringing him but the call didn't go through

You reminded me of a Top Gear special in southern USA where they all spray painted each other's cars with 'colourful' slogans. "Nascar Sucks" etc.

Jeremy Clarkson pulls up to a servo, sees the building hysteria amongst the local yokels then says to the camera "I just remembered I already have a full tank" and speeds off.

In the same vain Darcy will be personally calling Ross this week to re-sign and guarantee North's offer never takes effect:

"No no I never said you ****ing pervert, I said you ****ing PERFECT, as in you're a perfect coach Rosco. And hey sure, I'd love to go to an Over 28s night with you sometime to hang out and look at preggers chicks"

Darcy looks over at his agent with a look of "was that enough to get it done?" to which his agent nods reassuredly.

Problem is we could also drop some of those winnable games, so I wouldn't put 5th last out of the question until we either take a few scalps and beat who we should. Port is playing a lot better than Rd 1 and we don't win away much.

Gruz looks nice

Gruz, Wilson, throw everything at a good KPD and a good half back.

Butts FA is alive, those first two are completely gettable. Might have to wait on the half back or hope we already have it.

And some speed

Our last pick in the rookie draft should be set aside for a guy with X factor each year - if he doesn’t work out it’s only a one year deal.

Most years 8 or 9 is the average player turnover across the league. I imagine we'll be somewhere around there this year. You don't need draft picks to replace them all. We have effectively already added one in Blamires, maybe another in the MSD, a free agent or two, our first rounder on a kid or to trade a player of need in, the three tied kids will possibly cost our remaining picks, and we could take a late pick or rookie or two. That's 7-10 without allowing for any additional currency from players traded out or from dipping into future picks.
