Payne > Zurhaar ranked 327th as a 27 year old.
My last post about Cam in the Dovaston thread (sorry guys).

DY, you made a reasonable point about Zurhaar’s ranking. I’d like to quantify it a bit though.

First off, curiously enough this has been cam’s worst rating for the last 4 years.
8.44
10.01
8.37
7.76 (2025)

The 7.76 rating places him 46th best for all general forwards. Not great, but not totally fair on him either. He has been classed as a general forward, but that includes small forwards, high half forwards and part time midfielders who generally rate higher. Here is a list of the top general forwards in 2025 to illustrate my point -
1. Miers
2. Mannagh
3. Moore
4. Max Hall
5. Scott West
6. Toby Greene
7. Dangerfield
8. Darcy Jones

Now Cam is more of a pseudo key forward (3rd tall forward). So I think it’s fairer to compare him to key forwards. Here is a list of key forwards in 2025 with plenty of comparable pseudo 3rd tall types in that list.

The only 3rd tall types inside the top 21 rankings for key forwards were Melksham & Gunston, so starting from the 21st highest rank -

21. Owens 8.37
22. Morris 8.12
23. Zurhaar 7.76 (this while having the equal 2nd worst i50 count with a dog shit team)
24. Voss 7.64
25. Langford 7.63
26. Cadman 7.62
27. Van Royen 7.37
28. Croft 7.30
29. Lynch 7.23
30. Mihocek 7.07
31. McStay 7.03
32. Georgiades 7.04
33. Fogarty 6.75

So that 327th best ranking really doesn’t tell the full story does it? I think I have shown that 3rd tall types don’t generally rate highly.

FYI the rest of our forward group rankings -

Key forwards -
4. Trembath 11.87 (only a 3 game sample size)
12. Larkey 9.34
14. Darling 9.12

General forwards -
10. Curtis 10.51

That’s all from me on this subject.

We got one here, and I say that because Nostra ran a line through him already. Go in the opposite direction and you're safe as houses :p

So you rate Dovaston nee Dinkers mate, he's the giant of the family of course.

I like Dovaston nee Dinkers style. Comes in, smashes time trial, and ****s off....

We’re not finding it concerning that someone who was just drafted won our time trail?

Each to there own I guess.
I think a couple of draftees (for other teams) have killed a time in the last couple of seasons. It’s a weakness in the list. At least we are drafting players to fix it.

From the photo it looks like Mckercher and Stephens, our two fastest runners, were in the other group.

How do we know that Dovaston was faster than them? Looks like he was running against mostly KPP.
