I think he will come straight back in as well.

Lloyd for Lennon should be pretty well nailed on.

Probably comes down to Bolton or Castagna to come out for Vlassy, I'd keep Bolton in for a few more games, think he's just getting that first goal away from really starting to flourish a bit. Castagna a little stiff but that's what happens when most of your players are playing good footy.

I don't think Bolton should be showed any leniency just because he's young. If we were in a rebuild then I would agree with you, but we're aiming to win games and we should be selecting players for our best 22 with that goal in mind.

Castagna is third for most goals kicked at the club and although his form has dipped in recent weeks, has been our most consistent forward other than Jack.

I wouldn't drop him for someone who has had little to zero impact on games thus far.

I disagree with that, I just don't think Castagna has been markedly better than Bolton the last few weeks.

it would be a shame to lose the forward pressure / xfactor of bolton or george

maybe drop Lloyd

Hmm, I don't think you're wrong when looking at the last few weeks. I just think it's dangerous to take out a proven goal kicker in a team which doesn't have many for an 18 year old who so far is goalless.

would almost give him a run in the twos before bringing him back but make no mistake his is a critical player, his ability to win or draw one on ones is vital, he looked great playing HBF before he got injured

It's a tough call either way, my previous post should have said i don't disagree with that btw

Tough one , a few weeks ago you would say lambert for sure , but had been good last few weeks .
Lambert has improved this year and while i'm still not sold on him he is playing that lock down role that Hunt used to do (and making a better fist of it). Last night I think he played more of an attacking role his stats were very good.

Agree with that, and just think back to Vlas's last game. I believe he was having a blinder that day. So if he's fit, comes in ahead of Shai. Bolt's has been OK, and it has been great to get a couple of games into the lad.

Agree with that Lloyd and Bolton haven't performed at the level to retain their spots . Lloyd especially I've been dissapointed, hasn't fired a shot in 2017 and worse still hasn't looked like it , I'd be hard pressed to select him again

tbf its pretty hard to play CHF @ 180cm

In his favour Lloyd did have 5 tackles.

At least two of those were from him dropping the mark and his opponent coming in and grabbing it. Wasn't alone in that regard, Rioli, Castagna, Menadue and Butler all did it, if they could be a bit a cleaner it would be very very nice.

But back to Lloyd he has been very average, not kicking goals nor doing as many positive things as Butler, Castagna, Rioli and Butler. Would be dropping him for Lennon and probably Castagna for Vlas as Georgie is the least clean of the 4, that being said be nice if Rioli stopped trying to take chest marks, had a few belted away from him by not taking it in the hands.
