I enjoyed the one where he gave that grub Ballantyne a fend off to the face. Gave away the free kick, but worth it![]()
Next captain.
Next on lolnorfs list once Dusty rejects. What's flossys contract situation? He is a friggin rock in defence
I still don't understand why people wanted him in the midfield.

Playing him in the midfield has clearly improved him.
That's drawing a long bow.

I wasn't convinced of that in previous seasons, but seeing him take the next step this year and how much of a rock he is, I am coming around to this idea. The question is when Cotchin hands it over, he seems to have a lock on the position.Next captain.

It literally isn't.
He is so much fitter now, and works so much better in traffic.
Is in career best form, after doing a midfielders pre-season.
Correlation or causation?
Because he was playing as a midfielder before injury lol? Doesn't mean the extra fitness gained hasn't had a impact on his fitness leading to career best fornThen how come he has been brilliant since returning after injury and slotting back into defence and was relatively poor as a midfielder?

Did you see the state of our midfield at the end of last season.
Ophidian Old Boys
I don't think fitness has anything to do with his form. His output in the backline was always trending upwards, always quite impressive. It literally isn't.

Yeah and it's not overly different this season, add Prestia, remove Miles. Add Lambert.Did you see the state of our midfield at the end of last season.

His exposure to the midfield for what two games in the regular season? Where he was poor, would not have affected his form currently.
No way to measure his fitness levels compared to a defenders pre-season to a midfielders pre-season, you are just assuming that it would improve his fitness base, which I can understand, but in terms of it being the cause for his good form... it's a stretch.

It's all because of the beard!

From memory was good in his first final 2013
Was Average in midfield , looks to have grown in confidence , carrying the ball more than he has previously , always courageous in the contest he has added a trick or two which has made him a more damaging player , well done vlassy our defence is a delight to watchThen how come he has been brilliant since returning after injury and slotting back into defence and was relatively poor as a midfielder?
