I am surprised a club doesn't go and throw a huge amount of cash at Vlaustin. Imagine if an Essendon or someone like that threw their cash at him instead of an overrated midfielder and he could be the general for their backline for the next 5-8 years.

I agree I’m sure a few clubs had a crack especially clubs with younger lists that would really benefit a natural leader to help develop a young backline
Essendon, St Kilda and Hawks probably definitely inquired given we have some of our ex assistants working at them

Apparently the cats have already sounded him out about coming out of retirement once he retires

He's one of, if not the best intercept marking defenders in the game. He reads it better than anyone, his decision making and disposal is elite, and he's stupidly courageous.

I'd be shocked if he didn't have a bunch of hopeful suiters. Like many of our stars, they're probably playing for unders at Richmond (based on what what clubs would be offering).
