But then how will men project status?Excellent. Now, can we get Ford to actually sell cars that aren't big enough to require their own postcode?
I wonder what the majority stakeholder in Tesla thinks of that documentYeah I was being tongue-in-cheek there - or at least trying to be! Henry Ford himself advanced some peculiar and objectional views about Jews

It was a good night, great to get a win at home and, as you said, to have the Executive Chairman and great grandson of Henry Ford fly in from the States suggests the value they see in the relationship extends beyond a mere commercial arrangement.Good to see Bill Ford doing the honours. Normally you get the president of Ford Australia or other minion for these sorts of things, which is their job. But Bill Ford doesn't get told by Ford what to do, and as a billionaire patron of his family's company, it does demonstrate how Ford sees the relationship.
Wasn't there a big thing in Geelong on Saturday too?It was a good night, great to get a win at home and, as you said, to have the Executive Chairman and great grandson of Henry Ford fly in from the States suggests the value they see in the relationship extends beyond a mere commercial arrangement.
Ford Day (or whatever it's called) has been an annual event for like a decadeWasn't there a big thing in Geelong on Saturday too?
From what I've heard Ford intend to celebrate all year.
Because I believe that it's actually 100 years since Ford started here. Not just the sponsorship.
Whoever the sales rep was that got that sponsorship in year one deserves a lot of credit. That's off the charts.
Send his entire living family cars I say.
I tell you what. The family days at ford in the 70s AND 80's were just great.Ford Day (or whatever it's called) has been an annual event for like a decade
But wouldn't be surprised to see further celebrations from them

All Ford Day is the event you're referring to and it has been a thing for a very long time.Wasn't there a big thing in Geelong on Saturday too?

Yeah, great he has a fondness for the club, as long as he and his family stays well away from anything to do with influencing the running of the club. They own the Detroit Lions, where he is a vice-chairman - they are by far the worst team in any major league sport in the US over the last 50 years. They make St Kilda's track record look pretty decent. The Executive Chairman and great grandson of Henry Ford fly in from the States suggests the value they see in the relationship extends beyond a mere commercial arrangement.
To be fair to Detroit... they have gotten better with Dan Campbell as HC in the last 4 years... but yes... long term grease fire from the mid 80's.Yeah, great he has a fondness for the club, as long as he and his family stays well away from anything to do with influencing the running of the club. lol Serious? He has zero say. The relationship is with Ford Australia (which is still a legal entity), his appearance was purely ceremonial as it's pretty cool to brag to have such a consecutive sponsorship deal like no other in the world.Yeah, great he has a fondness for the club, as long as he and his family stays well away from anything to do with influencing the running of the club.
