No, not really.

I wasn't disagreeing with you, I was sort of just making a point.

At the end of the day, it's just a number, okay, sure it has some history behind it, but because the club gave it to Cupido, I think that the history behind it has maybe just depleted in stature and that's why I think they'll give it to Cole.

It doesnt have to - and its only ever been worn by one Aborigine (Long). You may not be aware but Cupido is of South African origin.

Because Michael Long was one of the heroes of this club, and very active in the Aboriginal community.

Personally, I like the cousins at 41-42 too much to give either 13, and I'd rather let those guys make their own legends.

Let's let it wait for a year.

Sometimes a jumper suits the player. Alessio getting 27 or Dyson getting 2. I think that Michael Long would want Lovett to have 13 and I know that Lovett who is humbled at getting awards like the ANZAC Day medal and best first yr player will appreciate getting 13 and will work harder then Cupido did.

Alessio getting 27 was a disgrace. As for 13 I`d let it rest for a year, but it probably won`t. Lovett will get it.
