Tbh i thought Jy would be a handy winger after his last 3 or 4 games last year and without setting the world on fire i think he was good today. Stephens whole second half of the year last year was severely underrated here and he's picked up from where he left off and improved on it today.
Its amazing how much the disposal of players like Simpkin and LDU improve when the team is working hard and playing with confidence, long may it continue

I don't blame anyone else for Stephens being cuck than Stephens. He was great today. I'd imagine we'll give Georgey another week and straight in for Jy the following week. Jy did kick a lovely goal and side-stepped less, so that's a positive.

Yeah maybe, but i reckon the only one who could be as good on the the wing atm (other than Stephens) would be mckercher. If that's the case then it'd be wardlaw for whoever offers less in the forward role that mckercher played today. Simpkin or konstanty to make way. Good problems to have. Enjoy the win.

McKercher is a Very, Very good player, like Very. Fast and Skilful, un-north comes to mind.

I have absolutely piled on to this guy for nearly his entire time at our club however rightly so in my opinion.

Today i put my hand up and say his effort and game was 1st rate. Absolutely superb young man. An excellent performance that feels like was about 5 years in the making.

If he and Jy keep this up then our goal of 10 wins starts to look possible.

My seats are on the 50/wing on that side of the ground, so he kicked it right in front of me and I had the perfect view to follow the flight of the ball through the goals.

That kick was INSANE. Bent it perfectly in the air to drill the goal.

His elite endurance is going to become more prominent due the new way the game is being played.
