To give you some indication, I bought a copy from Border's in the city.

If you're from Geelong and want the dvd of it, you could order it at EzyDVD in Bay City. I've also seen name a game dvds in K-mart Corio, but whether they have 89 I don't know, and I'm pretty sure K-mart wont let you order dvds.

Well i dont live in geelong but i go to geelong for games so i would be able to get there. Whats the shop?

The guy has his Wharehouse under the West Gate Bridge its about $19(Look for name on the back of a copy) he has them all I got mine at Kmart for $15 when they had them on speacial.

I received a copy for my birthday this year and sat down to watch it a few weeks ago. Couldn't do it - just too painful. Do yourself a favour and spare the pain!!!

That said, one of the best GFs of all time, if not the best.

Even paranoid people have enemies! A glass at 50% volume, half empty or half full? When a subject have been trained by results to expect an ultimate slap in the face , can one really blame one? It simply Pavlov's dog.

I remember reading the post GF papers. Gee long gallant effort, what a match , game for the ages, the best GF for years, Gee long fans should not despair too much there time will surely come.... and on it went with the same drivel
1990 came and went. A year that gave a flag to a very ordinary side.
91 , a very good year, maybe Billys best, with GA retired he settled into the FF spot but in the end we got done in a close one to the eagles.
1992 , the year that got away. One might say in 89 we got beaten by a fantastic experienced side at the death knell, in 92 we were up at half time and had a chance although the writing was on the wall. I still remember sitting there unable to eat, gut churning, tight as a size nine shoe on size ten foot.
Why was I worried?. History was telling me to worry and history was right. Lose again.
93 the second year that we blew, another year we were good enough in talent but we didn’t even get there. Ablett at his best deserved a finals performance.
94,95 really it was a great effort getting there. In 94 were well balanced but less powerfull. The monkey was off Billys back in F1, Garry flogged Carlton in F2 without our on ball guns, got home against Carey and NM with the Hand of God goal in F3 and had nothing left. In stepped a team that was leaving players out that would have been in our best 20 and dished up a day of shame for GFC. 95 was almost the same, we played well, probably the fresh coach got a bit more out of the players there but got beaten by a very good side.
96, we got there but really were only bit players and 97 got ripped of in finals system that had us playing Crows in Adelaide.

Am I a half empty kind of guy, does Pavlov’s dog drool when he hears the bell?
