So why doesn't it feel like he is one of the best ruck/forwards of the last decade?

Not taking the piss - I get the numbers, but it also feels like something is missing.
Maybe it's just the sense that he has the raw tools to be totally dominant and isn't taking that opportunity.
Because people don't really realise that the bar is relatively low for the type. Kurt Tippett was pretty much the best at it from 2014-2017 but everyone still thought he was overpaid.

Nope. And for me he's one of the best in the league
The official diagnosis for it (ie talented forward/rucks not reaching their potential) is McKernan Syndrome, named after Corey (but clearly hereditary also). There is no known cure but usually treated by trading the player from 1 club to another.

Really liked his work up the ground in the first quarter.

His field kicking is really good. He threaded the needle a few times when the pressure was on.

Arguably has had his two best games against Norf 😜
He was very good on Anzac Day too. I have been a bit critical of this guy but credit to him. He does have a knack of being in the right place quite often which is good reading of the game. Would like to see him get some more marks on the lead but is showing something and opposition teams can't ignore him and play off him to help out against other forwards. Going to be important on the basis Harry is out for a bit.

Super game from him today. Not only was his straight kicking a feature but his impact around the ground was really good.

If he keeps playing like this - our need for a key forward becomes a bit more of a luxury rather than an urgent item we have to address immediately.
