From all reports I have read I would be happy with Terence Newman as he is considered the closest thing to a shut down corner that there is for quite some time. Not sure how he compares to Jammer from last year but I hear good things. Best athlete in the draft.

Surprised to see Leftwich down at #9, his stock seems to be falling and now considered only the 3rd best qb behind Palmer & Boller.

I think Chicago will take Leftwich at #4, despite trading for Kordell Stewart, and leave the Cowboys a choice between Suggs and Newman - well in a perfect world that is.
:)

Hat: I'm going to go the trade route we did last year.
Drop down into (no lower than) the 10th slot.
Pick up an extra second or third round plus pick.
In the second if Mcgahee is there - take him.:D

I think the key here is how despearte trams are for QB's.
We know Cincy should take one. As should the Bears, Arizona, Carolina, Bmore.

So that's 5 teams looking for QB's with only 3 top talents there.

Hopefully the number 5 pick will be a spot others want to jump into. ;)

I've seen Terence Newman play quite a bit this year. He's great. He wants to play in KC naturally, but he'll get snatched before we get our hands on him. I'd like to add that he is also a remarkable asset to your Special Teams as well.

I think the Boys should focus on getting a Corner in free agency, and use their early picks to work on their O-Line, and perhaps a good pass-rushing Defensive End.

Good call on McDougal for KC. That's precisely who we want. I've heard that the foul Raiders are trying to work up a deal where they can get him ahead of us. Slimey rats that they are.

KC's other immediate needs include an Outside Linebacker and a Corner.

I'm off all weekend. Looking forward to the drama.

Peace,
