I learned something new today listening to the 6PR broadcast of the Freo v Melbourne game. Adelaide lost its first final in 2005 to Geelong and were knocked out in straight sets. I wonder who won the flag in their world?

But not to be outdone, the front page of the Advertiser Full Time lift out reports "September 2006 Preliminary final 16-point loss to Eagles".

So 6PR revises history while the tiser predicts the future ... even though both were referring to the same finals series!

You'd really think it would be simple enough to get basic facts right when that's your core business, wouldn't you ... ?
