I always enjoy going back and looking at previous drafts to see how we have faired over time.

#12 James Frawley
#30 Ricky Petterd
#46 Colin Garland
#62 Isack Weetra

Good draft in my opinion for the picks we had.
Tippet was a steal at #32

Jeez, Kurt Tippett at 32...what a steal for the Crows.

Also, the irony of plucking Weetra in between Hill and Goldsack. Robbie Gray at 55 is a super pick too.

Was a really Tall draft so i think weve done well to get 2 KP players who have shown alot of promise. Would take Frawley/Garland over Hansen, Thorp, Brown x2, Everitt, Riewoldt, Sellar, Dawes.

Our team for the future would look very nice if we were able to snare one of 5 ruckman in the draft and develop them.

It shows to me that a KPP can go anywhere in the draft, if that draft was done today it would go:

Selwood
Gibbs
Tippett - Is his nickname Tip rat? If not it should be.

Josh Hill at 61 was also a good pick.

We did very well out of that draft, with the exception of Weetra, but that was always going to be a very speculative pick.

Got to be pleased with two outstanding KPP prospects, as well as Ricky Petterd, who has certainly shown a lot of promise.

And yeah, Tippett at 32 was great for the Crows, hopefully Melbourne can pick up a good KPF at 18 (assuming they don't get Butcher at 2).

Ben Warren at lucky number 69 looks like it may turn out alright too.

But Robbie Gray at 55... Bargin!

MFC did very well i'd say, 3/4. With maybe the exception of the teams with PP, we probably did best (without disecting in detail).

With the Brown twins, Riewoldt and others up there Frawley was a bit of a speculative pick at 12 but it has proved to be inspired. He looks as good as any tall besides Tippett, although I won't write off Leueny and Gumby yet.

I'm hoping Garland gets switched to CHF and becomes a revelation, but if we leave him as a backmen thats good too - he's just as good as Frawley down there.

We only seen glimpses of Petterd's best at the moment, he might not quite be as brutal but he has Sylvia like talent across half forward and in the middle.

I think we've done exceptionally well given that Frawley and Garland will most likely become 10-year key defenders for the club. Considering how poor our defenders have been for the past decade, we really hit the mark here. Petterd has the potential to become a good player, but hasn't cemented a spot just yet. As mentioned, Weetra was always a speculative pick, so no harm done.
