I'm going putting up the same type of thread in every club's board on BigFooty, rating their club's playing list from my point of view and I will be looking at some feedback and be interested in your thoughts.

Senior List

Nathan Bassett - One of my favourite Crow defenders but is currently injured, a key component in Adelaide's back half.

Rhett Biglands - big man who is out this year after a knee reconstruction, important big man

Nathan Bock - Has been impressive in recent weeks as a lead up CHF and looks a likely prospect; handy player as he can also do a job down back - he did a great job on restricting Nick Riewoldt last year.

Matthew Bode - The former Port Adelaide listed player is currently injured but is an extremely valuable player, was excellent in 2006.

Brett Burton - Needs to get back to full fitness for the Crows to get the best out of him; was excellent in 2006 finals and home-and-away season.

Bryce Campbell - A youngster yet to debut and should be given time to prove himself and will develop over time

Michael Doughty - A handy utility but hasn't impressed; could be on the way out

Richard Douglas - Impressed on debut last year and will get better as he develops

Tyson Edwards - Is one player I would have at my club, such is his ball-magnet ability and experience; very good player and very consistent

Nick Gill - Was picked up in last year's draft after two unsuccessful stints at Melbourne and the Kangaroos; yet to debut but should get his chance

Simon Goodwin - An excellent ball-winner in the midfield for the Crows and loves to kick the occasional goal; important player

Jonathon Griffin - Has certainly impressed in his stints in the seniors despite his lack of experience and light frame; will get better as he develops

Trent Hentschel - Is out injured for this year but is a known goalkicker

John Hinge - Played one game this year (11 disposals, 3 kicks, 1 mark); worth perservering with.

Ben Hudson - An under-rated ruckman who is very good in the air and at ground level who can also go forward; important player for the Crows

Luke Jericho - Has shown little glimpses of talent but one who looks to be on the edge of being chopped off the list; looks gone at this stage

Graham Johncock - Was extremely unlucky to not get All-Australian selection last year and is one of my favourites; an important player in that back half for the Crows

Chris Knights - A genuine talent, Knights is a talented player with ball-winning ability, very quick and good skills; a player of the future

David MacKay - Was picked up by the Crows in last year's draft and will be given time to develop

Ivan Maric - An exciting young ruckman who boasts athleticism and can also go forward and kick goals; promising prospect

Kris Massie - The former-Blue is rated highly by the Crows and showed his value to the side with last week's shut down job on Hawk Lance Franklin

Martin Mattner - A very important running type who boasts a long kick and a motor that can run all day; best suited to half-back or wing

Ken McGregor - Is a talented utility who can hold a key post at both ends of the ground; needs to establish himself into a set position

Andrew McIntyre - Another who was selected by the Crows in last year's draft and like others, will be given time to develop

Andrew McLeod - Another long-time favourite of mine, McLeod boasts a deal of speed and his finishing of the football is second-to-none; a very valuable player, particularly off half-back

John Meeson - A highly rated ruckman who was selected in the 2004 Draft who could be on his way back to Victoria as he is out of contract at the end of the year; will be a very good player, much in the Josh Fraser mould

Ian Perrie - a very valuable player up forward, when on song he can kick a bag and provide a very reliable target

Darren Pfeiffer - Was selected by the Crows in last year's draft; just like Hinge and others, will be given time to develop

Jason Porplyzia - Is an exciting young talent who is good at ground level, quick and has good skills; a player of the future

Brent Reilly - Like Knights, Reilly is very quick, good at ground level, has ball-winning ability and has good skills; the former-Victorian is another player who has an exciting future ahead of him

Mark Ricciuto - After plenty of injury problems spanning from the eve of last year's finals series to this season, the skipper of the Crows is back and proved how good he really is with 4 goals against the Hawks last week; very important to the Crows structure

Ben Rutten - Another one of my favourite Crows, Rutten is a very solid defender who is a former All-Australian; important to Crows structure

James Sellar - The tall, talented forward was selected by the Crows in last year's draft; is yet to debut but will be given time to develop

Robert Shirley - A regular Crow who usually tags opposition players and does so successfully; important cog in midfield

Scott Stevens - The former-Swan was on the verge of being delisted by the Crows until he turned his career around when tried down back last year, which he did with success; needs to maintain form or he could be shown the door

Scott Thompson - The former-Demon has had an instant impact since coming to the Crows and showed how good he was last week against the Hawks at AAMI Stadium with 39 disposals; is a ball-magnet with very good skills and quick, smart around the goals as well

Kurt Tippett - Another who was selected by the Crows in last year's draft will be given time to develop; is a highly rated ruckman who is part of Adelaide's long-term plans

Jason Torney - The former Tiger defender has impressed since crossing from Tigerland, adding plenty of experience to further anhance to a solid backline; still has plenty to offer the Crows

Nathan Van Berlo - The former WA youngster looms as an exciting talent for the Crows; he's quick, is a ball-magnet and has very good skills by both hand and foot

Bernie Vince - This promising youngster looks a likely type; he's quick, smart around the goals, is a ball-magnet and has good skills - a genuine talent who is in the long-term plans for the Crows

Scott Welsh - The former-North Melbourne premiership star is a very reliable option up forward for the Crows; vital to the forwardline structure

Rookie List

Rhys Archard - Like all rookies has a chance to impress, but will develop and benefit from his experience on an AFL list

Greg Gallam - Like Archard, Gallam will have his chance to impress the Adelaide coaching staff but he will also benefit from his experience on an AFL list

James Turner - Just like previous rookie successes at the Crows (e.g. Griffin), young Turner will be out to impress the Crows coaching staff but at the same time will benefit from experience on an AFL list

I appreciate your effort, but why are you telling us this? I'm willing to bet we know more about our own list than you do. There are some factual inaccuracies in there and a lot of it just seems to be regurgitation of popular opinion. I mean, have you even seen all of those players play?
