This should be a fantastic grand final played between the best 2 teams in the competition this year. Will the short break hurt both sides(Especially North Ballarat). Port Melbourne are playing in their first grand final since 2004 and have not won since 1982. North Ballarat who are yet to win a flag and are playing in their 1st grand final since 2000. Hopefully a good crowd will come to the Dome on Friday for this great night. I think Port Melbourne to win this game but it will be a close finish.

Roosters to win by 6 points, I hope they can get a decent crowd there - but I am skeptical at this stage.

Good to see it's not just the AFL MRP/tribunal that has 'Chooklotto'.The VFL also has it.How the heck did Greig only get a reprimand for his incident with Pods ?
He lined him up.

No doubt his spotless record throughout his TAC Cup and VFL career helped. If Liam Picken was given a reprimand for his assault on Port's Sam Dwyer there's no way Greig was ever going to be rubbed out.

Reprimand are you kidding

unbelievable, I thought hed get at least 4, Dwyer was wide open, kicking a great goal by the way, thats pure courage to take the hit and kick true, he knew what was coming and didnt change stride,,, Go the Borough!

Two questions ;
- was Spriggs injured last week and that's why he missed ?
- is the Owen listed as emergency for NB former Geelong listed player Steve Owen,who did his knee late last year ?

Spriggs has misssed the last 4 weeks with a hamstring injury. Was put through his paces last night at training and looked to get through it ok. Reports in the papers this morning say that he will be re-tested today.

Yes he is the former geelong listed player, he played all his juniors at north ballarat and he loves the club. he has played a couple of games throughout the later bit of the season but just hadn't got enough game time in him. is stiff not to be playing, spoke to him today and he seems pretty hungry to play good footy next year.

Can't wait for tonight GO THE MIGHTY ROOSTERS!!!!!!!

Quick question... Does anyone know if Robbie Tarrant has been included and if not why wasnt he in the starting line up?

Not looking good for the Boroughs early in the Q4. Ballarat boys up by 24 points.

And a fairly average crowd tonight, only approx 11,000, down on last years crowd (no Geelong)

Who cares about the crowd, those that weren't there missed the mighty Roosters claiming the flag . . . . . . . . onya lads :thumbsu:

Go the Roosters!!!! I shouldn't be posting as I have had too much to drink.....
