It is clear we need to do something.

I think Kerr, Myself and Happy Eagles WERE all co-captains but I've just called myself vice as right from when I agreed to be vice I knew i couldnt be captain. Was happy to help out but new the responisiblity of captain wasn't for me.

How about this then, if I get time to do it tomorrow or Sunday, or if someone else gets time to, how about we PM every listed member on our team, with a link to this thread. Ask them to give their opinion on the future of the team aka captain. Kerr has been gone long enough we need to 'assume' he isnt returning. if he does, fine, we can deal with that then. Until then (or the end of the season) we NEED an interim captain.

How do these plans sound to people?

Most of your team doesn't post anyway, so whoever takes the captaincy would want to do a sweep of the list during mid-season IMO.

Yep I like that idea. If we don't get enough replys then don't worrie about it, we will settle the issue another way. We might as well give it a shot.

we are already in trouble, I don't think anyone can deny that, but wouldnt most clubs be after the sudden departure of our captain???

I'm pretty sure that the Shagons, Hawks, Furies and Dees could all quite easily cope with their captain going MIA.

You should have enough of a core to manage, Tarkyn and I both took over clubs half way through last year and we're bounding ahead now.

I think Kerrby has to be given the nod as he will make the hard calls on players, is enthusiastic, and active.

Was offered the vc @ the wonders mid way through last season, considered it, chose not to, and then kerr4pm hacked tffsl from memory.

Sorry, but you guys have to find someone like that at your squad, I'm happy at the Dees, though from what I've seen, you wouldn't be a bad choice.

thanks mate, but my stats don't really back me up. Maybe off the feild i could go alright but on the feild i am terrible.

ok, i won't have time to do it tomorrow. Kerrby, if your keen on the captaincy how about you PM each and every player listed for the following reasons

a) reminding them the season IS in progress, a simple PM MIGHT encourage activity
b) ask them to come by this thread and give their 2 cents worth, whether they think you'll be good or whatever.

I myself have no qualms with kerrby being given the captaincy, as long as whoever takes it on does something to help us get back to our early (first season premiers!) glory

Like I said on the posting quality thread, I'm all for getting MORE players and teams, but attempting to chop teams and players is piss weak.

As for this raving between BlueFan4 and Kerrby, FFS it's a fantasy footy game on an internet forum. It's about having FUN, why is it such a serious issue?
