In short for me

TIGERS and BLUEs will be the big movers

SWANS, ADELAIDE and BRISBANE the big sliders


1.GEELONG (will bounce back without fuss)
2.HAWTHORN (Admirable 08, will only get better, but I can't see them going back to back)
3.WESTERN BULLDOGS (Going safe on the dogs, really need key position players, however won't be surprised if they drop as low as 8th)
4. NORTH MELBOURNE (They'll get fourth, unlucky in 08, but have a consistant side)
5. RICHMOND (Either them or the Blues, I just can't go past te Tiges aewsome end of season form - note: last team to beat the Hawks)
6. CARLTON (Tussel with the Tigers, on the up, and have star youngsters to boot)
7. COLLINGWOOD (Ain't this a grand sight for the traditionalists, the blues, pies and tiges - will be thereabouts, proably have some of the best kids going round)
8. ADELAIDE (Perenial finals contenders, have a young team though and could struggle like their cross town rivals)

9. SYDNEY (Finals run will defiently come to an end, however probably have enough experienced players to win them games)
10. ESSENDON (Fast attacking but inexperienced, could be a year or two before the bombers get going)
11. ST KILDA (Did a bradbury in 08, and will do a Leeds United in 09 on the field - supremly overrated)
12. FREMANTLE (Did lose a run of close ones in 08, but just seem to refuse success)
13. BRISBANE (Voss will do little, the side fails to have impact layers - bar Black and Brown - and rely on too few)
14. PORT ADELAIDE (Mt Everest one minute, Broadmeadows the next - are young developing, but are better than the Eagles and Dees)
15. WEST COAST (esperienced players are walking out on club now that siccess is far over the horizon, Eagles fans gear up for some more pain)
16. MELBOURNE (Make that back to back spoons - Trevor Marmelade already preparing hi best work yet...)

1. Geelong - Easily the best side in the comp, just very unlucky on GF day
2. Hawthorn - Easily the second best side in the comp, just very lucky on GF day
3. Richmond - The remaining finalists of '08 are not as impressive as some of the youth and talent that a few of the bottom eight have begun to develop, they will come hard in '09.
4. St Kilda - Still an excellent collection of key position players and midfielders. Can they get it together for once?
5. Essendon - Doomsayers of the Bombers are kidding; as good a collection of young talent mixed with older talent as any of the rest. And speed to burn.
6. North Melbourne - I'm not underestimating this side again.
7. Western Bulldogs - Good side, just do not have the forward structure to compete with sides that are going to be able to put it inside 50 as often as they.
8. Adelaide - Competitive, but lacking the pace to compete with the best.

9. Collingwood - Will struggle in the middle, but still have the talent to push for finals contention.
10. Port Adelaide - Has improvement in them from '08, but have a host of ageing stars that may struggle with the pace of the game.
11. Carlton - Reliant on Fevola, weak down back and with a young ruck division. As overrated as any team in recent history. Another year yet.
12. Brisbane - How long can they hope that the current midfield will carry them forward?
13. Sydney - Old, slow and attempting to stay afloat by recruiting established players.
14. West Coast - Not in as bad a way as people would think. Early picks, young list. Will push in 2010-11.
15. Fremantle - Same problem as Sydney, just further advanced. Older players are not going to move you up the ladder.
16. Melbourne - Poor old Melbourne. They just don't have the manpower, money or support. And any early draft picks are going to take time to have a decent impact.
