FB: Rance - Moore - Raines
HB: Mcguane - Thursfield - Newman
C: Tuck - Deledio - Polo
HF: Cotchin - Richo - Tambling
FF: Morton - Reiwoldt - Brown
R: Simmonds - Foley - Coughlan

INT: Pattison - Johnson - Connors - White

fairly good side, would make a few changes
mine would look like

FB: Newman- Moore - Bowden
HB: Mcguane - Thursfield - McMahon
C: Raines - Deledio - White
HF: Cotchin - Richo - Tambling
FF: Morton - Reiwoldt - Brown
R: Simmonds - Foley - Tuck

INT: Pattison - Johnson - Connors - Coughlan

EMG: Morton - Edwards - Polo

id swap moore and thursfield

dont think polo is up to playing on the wing just yet

Think in our best 22 a few of spots will depend on pre-season, drafting, developement and form and have listed them as find.

FB: Newman - Thursfield - Moore
HB: McGuane - Schultz - Tambling
C: Richardson - Lids - Brown
HF: Cotchin - Reiwoldt - Bowden
FF: Morton - Find - Collard
R: Simmonds - Tuck - Foley

INT: White, 2nd Ruckman(FIND),Consistant Tagger( FIND ), Versatile Tall ( FIND )

Coughlan fit could add a lot, Brown to a flank, Coughlan to the wing and Bowden as the versatile tall on the bench.

Possible solutions :
F.F - Gourdis, Hughes ???
2nd Ruckman - Patto, Graham,
Tagger - Polo, Johnson, Jackson, Connors, Raines
Versatile Tall - ????

Definitely the best so far, interesting to see you have Collard in there, he might come in late in the season. But early season I think he'll remain on the rookie list. Our FF and second ruck man worries me. We'll pick up a cheap ruckman for sure and give him ago, otherwise we'll run with Patto. Graham should be delisted and I believe he will.

I'd get Connors in there for Collard and bring Meyer in as the tagger, if you watched some Coburg games this year you'll know why!

By the way could stop putting Rance in expecting so much from such a young KP talent. He's got a LONGGGGGGGGGG way to go from this season. He'll get about 5 or so games in him next year IMO.

I'd play a very attacking game where you leave the forward 40 or so open for Copeland purely for 1:1. If he loses (un-****ing-likely) then he will get the crumbs himself and kick the goals.

Yea thought about Connors and understand he is a young player and experience tends to improve consistancy, but similarily to McMahon and Pettifer, there is just to much difference between his best and worst, and better sides just don't have that and tend to have a lesser number of players, that are inconsistant.
Also think Collard tends to represent, as the more suitable future replacement of Brown, as the clever small forward.
Schultz was one I toiled over, but think he has developed a very unassuming role and the back six seems pretty settled with him in the mix.:thumbsu::thumbsu:

Can't help but feel people are just willing Rance into their best 22.

He's a 2nd year KPP who hasn't played a game.

It's more likely that Danny Meyer for example, a small in his 5th year, will burst into the best 22.

Just looking at an old thread... everybody had Jake King and Kayne Pettifer in their best 22 for 2008 and nobody had Luke McGuane or Kel Moore.

These threads are fun as long as nobody seriously thinks they are "right" because we are all wrong.

Terry won't have his best 22 until 3 days before Round 1 ;)
