2009 Draft

In the midst of all the negativity, TAC Cup begins next week, and how exciting is it?!

Not an entirely deep draft this year imo, but the top 20 or so picks look VERY good. I'd say it's more a midfielders draft, but there's certainly some juicy key position prospects floating around.

We'll be playing the Bums later on for the Butcher Cup perhaps in that case.

Don't the Gold Coast get the firt 20 picks or thereabouts.I stated last year we should have cut deeper into the list and picked up more kids on 2oo8 draft.Kids who could kick.Not only did we not do that but we gave away picks for Hislop and Thomson who do not have great skills..but big bodies....big deal.
We need blokes who can kick.
I say we have wasted an opportunity to get more skilled playes in 08.

If it wasn't obvious already we need a big bodied key forward

Well I think some guys we should be lookin at are Fitzpatrick and D Bevan these guys could be good players.
