Hey guys, good luck on the weekend, may the best team (carlton obviously ) win. My question is about Michael Doughty. Noticed he's been racking up the possessions and SC scores for a while now. Unfortunately I don't see much of Adelaide at all, but correct me if i'm wrong, Shirley is your tagger right? I always thought Doughty tagged a bit too. So my question is with Shirley out is there any danger of Doughty doing a tagging job and not racking up the stats this week?

Doughty tags but he usually tags from defence. He'll be around the ball more in the centre when he tags Judd, but there are a lot more cheapy touches/marks in defence.

That said, last time Doughty played on Judd he had a huge game DT-wise.

I'd be expecting him to pick up a lazy 80 or so.

Yeah, Doughty is pretty good at racking up the cheap possies, so no matter where he plays this week, I'd expect him to at the very least have about 23-25 possies, whether he hurts the opposition or not with those possessions is another story, whilst I think he's improved this area of his game, he still loves the old backwards chip to an un-marked player. Certainly a very solid DT/SC prospect though.

any one else think its stupid that for AFL Finals dreamteam that they still have Knights listed only as a midfielder and also only have Otten as a Midfielder???

Yeah they have not changed any of the positions at all, i would have thought Ryder from Essendon would have been a ruck option and Goodwin maybe a defender same with Corey from Geelong but no positions have changed. seems a bit slack but oh well, only finals dt.
