Unsuprisingly IMO, Ingles remains undrafted.

No surprise but he was the best SF remaining according to Bilas' best available list and the Heat choose another SF with the very last pick lol

He's a great rebounder and inside scorer in college, and is 6'7", 265lbs. You know, just like Danny Fortson was.

Fortson was better than Blair in college, and decent in his first few years in the NBA, but then got exposed once he didn't expand his game. I like Blair (I'm a Pittsburgh fan), and hopefully he can do something beyond what he's shown so far, or else he won't be anything but an undersized (height wise) big man role player in the NBA.

If there's doubts about his knees (when he's not an amazing athlete for his size to begin with), then it's no suprise IMO that he's dropped this far.

Fortson had no interest in defense and just got really fat. If he had stayed in shape and worked defensively he could have been a very good PF imo.

Wolves use final pick on a PF (?) Henk Norel, a teammate of Rubio.

Nice move. Not likely to get anyone of value here, so picking up Rubio's teammate might convince him to sign. Can't hurt, anyway.

If by decent fit you mean Mills now has zero chance of playing NBA minutes, then I agree. He's clearly behind Blake, Sergio and Bayless, and Pettero Kopekninsinenenen (or whatever the Finnish guy's name is) is in the wings as well.

Let's hope he gets dealt somewhere else.

as for patty mills, is he guarenteed a roster spot? if not for the blazers then i guess d-league right?

when i heard he was picked by the blazers i immediately thought of anstey and how excited i was when he was drafted (then traded to the nba graveyard in dallas). at least anstey got minutes unlike some of our players back when (pepper, anderson etc).

hope mills gets some meaningful time!

Mills knew there would be 10 PGs drafted ahead of him this year but he still stayed in the draft.

Sergio is gone, Blake should be traded and Koponen too. Nate wants an experienced PG though, so Blake and Outlaw may go for that leaving Mills as 3rd string PG. Should get minutes.., hopefully

I doubt it'd happen, but I'd love Phoenix to get Wright, Curry and Biedrins for him, as was rumoured. Bellineli instead of Curry is more realistic, but not sure if I'd take that deal yet.

The Blazers saved Patty Mills from slipping out of the draft. If he could have jumped right after the Olympics, he would have gone much higher. He's super quick and a great kid, but he's small and a lot of teams don't believe he's a point guard. The Blazers don't really have a roster spot for him, but he might be able to continue to improve overseas.

Hope he gets traded to a more apt team.

Not sure what the reason is yet. Some are suggesting GS don't want to give up Curry, while others are saying it's because Amare won't sign an extension

Miami will trade the draft rights to Marcus Thornton to the Hornets for two future second round picks.

Thornton was the 43rd overall pick in the 2009 NBA Draft.
