The Carlton Board BigFooty Buddy Draft is back for the 2011 season!
After a number of seasons of varying success, I have decided to bring back the Buddy Draft in 2011.
Please register your interest in this thread if you wish to participate.
For those that are unaware, the Buddy Draft is your chance to pick a player on the Carlton list, and be his 'buddy' for the upcoming season. Once you draft that player, you will effectively take ownership of his thread on the Buddy Draft sub-board, and include in it player news, previews, reviews, stats, discussions etc.
This initiative has been a success on other team boards, and has been tried here for a few years with varying success. With the excitement over our season 2011, in particular our list, I see no reason why the Buddy Draft can't be a success here to!
So I'm calling out to you, get involved in the Carlton Board Buddy Draft for season 2011! Take the chance to take a player under your wing and defend him from his detractors, and revel in the excitement of others over YOUR buddy.
Expressions of interest are open as of now. Nominations will close in about a month or so, or when we have sufficient interest, at which point a draft order will be randomly generated, and from there the fun begins!
