I know there's not that many of us up here, but for any Cats fans around south-east Queensland, there's a function on Wednesday night that's worth a look.
The Brisbane launch for the 2011 Footy Almanac will be held at MJ's Bar & Restaurant (Level 2, 159 Roma Street) from 6 p.m. this Wednesday night.
Check out 'Footy Almanac' on-line if you want some more details; the night will be a good one for Cats fans as Damian Bourke will be the guest speaker and John Harms (as one of the editors of the 'Almanac') will be around for a chat.
Looking forward to asking Bourkey how Jordan is travelling, and Harms is always a great bloke to catch up with.
Anyway, hope some of you can make it along - if you have any family/friends that are interested in footy they're also very welcome. The more the merrier.
Just send an RSVP to Harmsy if you can make it along - he's keen to make sure he has enough Chiko Rolls to go around.
If you like the idea of getting along to a launch like this but you're in Sydney/Canberra/Adelaide instead, there's dates for launches in those locations on the Almanac website too.
