All of these reasonable, but to me I could never call Krakouer the feel good story of the year.

It's great he has served his penalty, and been able to resume his career and is doing well, but I can't accept the feel good story of the year is for a guy who put another person in intensive care for a fortnight which lead to kidney failure and 6 months of rehab. It's a story to be told, and a good comeback from Krakouer following this, but there's nothing feel good about it. Now if the victim of the assault was playing tomorrow, that would the feel good story of the year.

I admire him for coming back, but I feel the same way. Maybe I should move on, though I feel he is the lucky one.
