Excellent (kind of) really wanted Wilson, perhaps a little high though. Carroll and Schneider certainty don't mind getting the guy they want early.

Wagner fills a need too, like that pick. Also can play special teams, we're going to be quite strong there this year.

Improved pass rush: tick
Add depth in the linebacker position: tick
Added another QB: tick

Immediate needs satisfied, rest of the draft will be interesting from our point of view, with the trade downs we've got a few more picks to work with.

Also cardinals with Fleming. Guy slipped. Teams like 49ers could've addressed more important area like OL and Db, taken value like those two picks.

I'm glad he's gone now. Sanu is a horrible fit for the Ravens offense

Brandon Thompson surely was there for the taking to replace Casey Hampton.

Thompson is an incredible run defender inside. He is consistent in his play and uses his feet to make plays against the run. He comes off the ball quickly and is able to fill gaps well at his size. He also makes plays on the ball carrier. He is a very strong player who knows how to use his hands and disrupt plays in the backfield.
>> Thompson tends to be negated by double teams inside. His substandard technique can limit him at times and contributes to his inability to get past those doubles. Though he is stellar against the run, he is limited against the pass, only occasionally making things happen as a rusher.
