Any other news on trades/delistings/retirees? And also, when do squads get finalised?

The West had a WAFL liftout in Friday's edition with squads, some of them seemed a fair way from full though.

Went down to Medibank stadium with my son to watch Claremont play Peel today.
Had a good time, Claremont held on for a 9 point win.
The Claremont boys look in good touch, kicked away fairly easily in the first half of the game, most of the time held a handy 3-4 goal buffer/lead.
As the game went on though Peel upped their workrate and put on the screws.
Peel finished fast but Claremont managed to maintain their buffer, then as the final quarter came to a close hold Peel off.

Claremonts style seems to be a tad more direct this year (only seen one game though) with fewer errors.

Good effort from both teams to put on an entertaining match.

Silvagni played only the first half of the match but he was quite handy. Seemed to be moving very well, took some good grabs, may have kicked a goal or two, can't remember sorry.
Medhurst didn't play. I wanted to see him play too.....

Hamish Shepheard and Adam Coclie both signed for Sandringham VFL for 2012.

Played 2 practice matches so far..both players have performed well...Cockie BOG last saturday against Werribee imho...

The WA influence is starting at Sandy with Simon McPhee as Coach...Ryan Webster assistant coach plus the 2 players

Des Headland has come out of retirement and is back playing at Subi. Apparently his body is feeling better than ever.

Claremont are going to be hard to beat again this year. Very strong lineup.

Not sure if it has been mentioned before but Brant Chambers who retired from Sturt at the beginning of last year as their leading goal kicker with 672 goals played for Subi reserves today. He finished with 2 kicks and a solitary goal.
