Well said. From a Carrara point of view, we are not used to decent crowds playing away and would just like to acknowledge at times a forgotten part of the game. The support and hospitality shown our club by both Jimboomba and Zillmere has been second to none and we have walked away with nothing but admiration for both clubs.Zillmere had 750+ state league games, 2 players who had been on afl lists, a Grogan, a joe grant medal and a heap of state games! Not many div 4 sides boasting that sort of experience for a young group to learn from. Was great to see a once proud club playing again. Dickfos terrific, but Matty Waters was probably just as good! Would be competitive in div 3 this year, of they all played all games and stayed fit. Which will be the biggest challenge for the 37 yr plus group!

Any praccy matches this weekend lads?
We are heading up to Strathpine - fingers crossed we don't get to much rain over night.
What time do you play buffs? Any of your thirds get a run tomorrow?
Sorry Morro, although I am now a Strathpine local, Im still with the Yeronga thirds. From what I see when I drive past there. The ground looks in ok nick.Id say we will have quite a mixed bag tomorrow mate, including some 3rds. Tough to have everyone available this early on it seems.
How is the ground holding up mate?

Cheers Buffs. We are going alright, plenty of numbers, just finding it hard to get on the fields at the moment with all the rain. Il try and pop down for a look.Hey Mate - How is the yerong faithful? We are playing at 1 & 3 tomorrow and from what I have heard all steam ahead. I am managing the seniors this year. You should drop in for a beer if you get a chance.
Buffs & Morro, we trained on the ground last night and it was solid under foot. The forecast for the rest of today and tomorrow doesn't auger well for playing though. I know the Prez was going to be marking the ground this afternoon but I don't know when a final decision will be made
Don't you mean Robina/Coomera/Beenleigh v Toowoomba KP?????
Haha
Looking forward seening budgy runout in the saints colours for the 1st time aswell as the support off the beenleigh 16s playing before us see that morro u like that.
Based on numbers I would say its more like Robina/Surfers/Beenleigh. Only one definite Coomera player at Carrara.Don't you mean Robina/Coomera/Beenleigh v Toowoomba KP?????
