Our game against GWS in Sydney on July 20 has been changed to a day game. Apparently to avoid a clash with a Man U game being played at Homebush that night.

Can't find a list anywhere.

In general, any Sunday early or twilight games won't be on free to air. You can be pretty sure of that.

Theres 17 free to air bombers games this season, as for the remaining 5 games, they'll be on fox

Looking at the fixture, I would hazard a guess that:

Round 10 v Sydney
Round 15 v Port
Round 20 v West Coast
Round 21 v North

..would be four of them, due to the time slots.

Oh and Round 4 against St Kilda.

Round 10 v Sydney, Saturday June 1.
Round 15 v Port Adelaide, Sunday July 7.
Round 19 v Collingwood, Sunday August 4.
Round 20 v West Coast, Sunday August 11.
Round 21 v North Melbourne, Saturday August 17.

These are all of our games that are on Fox only.
The Collingwood game in Round 19 really surprises me, perhaps they need two big teams in the Sunday twilight slot to make people warm to it?

Just realized that from now round 6 to round 17 we play

GWS (twice)

WBD*
Port*
GC*
Bris*

* Vs all those 4 are at Etihad (Home)

Then on top of that we play Richmond and Carlton both i wouldnt say are going great or look great by any means and they finished 10th and 12th in 2012

The only real hard games in amongst that lot from 6-17 are

Geelong at Etihad
Sydney at SCG
West Coast at Subiaco/Patersons

IMO at worst we should win 1/3 of those hard games

If we were to only beat one of Rich/Carl and lose the other and win the 6 matches that really shouldn't be ever questioned of losing.

So say that happens thats another 8 wins and IMO im probably underestimating and we all know we can get too far ahead and im usually not one of those culprits but we could be going into round 18 very likely with 13 wins at a minimum. 11 if we lose all the 5 that are decently hard.

We have a very nice run/draw coming up

Have to make the most of our chances and avoid disasters like the Melbourne game last year. In saying that, we also need a good run with injuries and consistent game time for our best 22, not having 3-4 changes every single week and having barely any players able to run by round 21.

I think the concern with our fixture this year was our start to the season. Two games interstate against both Fremantle and Adelade, who went onto the second and third weeks of the finals respectively.

We won those two, and now the next ten weeks or so looks frighteningly decent. Still dunno about Richmond though. They always get up for our games.

Well thats what im saying hirds ATM id be very confident in playing Richmond although they now pretty much have their best side bar Conca (dont have any injuries). I reckon id be happy in taking one win of the 2 vs Rich/Carl (more likely against blues).

Its just a very nice favourable draw however we cant get complacent and injuries need to keep easy on us.

We slipped from 8-1 to 11-11 and embarrassingly missed the finals - the only side in VFL/AFL history to do so.

Yes, I realise that it is a new year & that predictions on Bigfooty have no bearing on actual results... but seriously, why don't my fellow supporters learn from previous examples of jumping the gun way too early?
