Daw actually scored very well in the 2 Nab games, whether he can sustain it for longer than shortened versions games leaves alot to be desired compared to Currie.

Yep, personally I think it's whether you want a safer option or a higher risk-reward ratio option. That wasn't the point of my post anyway, I was just pointing out the unique grammatical and spelling mistakes in Fitzey's posts.

LOL I personally reckon you're going with two... 4 premiums is about right, but 6 is overkill. All of their inflated prices are going to go down, and with 2 trades a week, there is really no punishment for going with value instead of guns early on...

Also, Franklin? That forward line is super weak

You're going to get a LOT of differing opinions here, only because our midfield is so hard to crack. You'd think, "Oh yeah the 'Dogs aren't very good, a mature solid body would help them a lot." But the problem comes to you when you try to write a best 22 for us - in the midfield, you'd play all of Boyd, Griffen, Cooney (injury permitting), Wallis, Libba, Picken, Cross, Dahlhaus and Higgins ahead of him, and then you have players like Hrovat, Stringer, Macrae, Hunter, Prudden, Smith, Stevens, Howard, Tutt, Wood etc pushing for selection there as well.

I hate the idea of playing Lower at half back since I think he's been mismanaged at both Port and Freo by being played there. Just depends how we see him, and how much of a risk you're willing to take.

I'd stay well away from him, but there will be people who completely disagree.

I have just looked thought the Thread I can comfortably tell you that 4/5 is most common with 6 being a rarity. I was just telling you that premiums fall in price drastically at the start of the season, and with the new noob friendly trading, it's unwise to start with 6 premium mids, and compromise other areas of the ground in doing so.

But hey go ahead if you want to come last, I don't give a flying ****.

Also, people offering advice in here need to stop trying to tell people how to have their team. Offer opinions and knowledge and even recommend what they should do but too often is there posts just saying "too many *****, move **** and get rid of ****" without any explanation or allowances for people to try different structures.

On this, to me its a new balancing act this year. With so many trades available all teams will be identical earlier in the season than the past. Therefore its super important to get off to a flying start!! Maybe foregoing rookie value increases in search of early points is a better way to go. Just saying.....

Rookies still to be determined following further NAB Cup action. Would welcome some advice.

Team value looks basically redundant to me this year, with the amount of trades we have, upgrading to a full 22 should be easy enough. Way I see it, it will be all about jumping on the points at the right times when they're on offer...starting with the best scoring prems from the start (i.e. the mids) seems the way to go for me.

There are more higher scoring midfielders than there are in any other area of the ground, but you are correct. The pricing is based upon output, not upon where they play. The value comes from selecting people that have the potential to improve upon last years scores and getting in early. Everyone has the same dollar value to spend, it's all about rookies/upgrades and identifying potential....
