Not much talk of Giles on here. Scored fairly well for his first full season. Put up the odd massive score. Mature age. Solid option I would have thought?

Leuenberger got through half a practice match today unscathed. I thought he did something to his Achilles again, but according to this article, he did his calf.

Is he worth the punt? Or is everyone turned off him now?

Personally, I've gone off him as I think he will be iffy all year with these sort of niggles.

Might be giving away a bit but so be it. I want to focus on prem's where possible.

Yeah I've gone off him as well. But I had such a nice structure with him in before so it is tempting.

this is provided you have FWD rookies who will score okay - personally i cannot see the sense in it - pick him up once he's had 2 decent games or when his price is set to jump (be it after 2 or 5 games etc) - thats what the extra trades enable you to do

I'm going to do this. Blicavs for the first 2 rounds or so and then upgrade to Leuenberger if he's looking good.
