I think Yeo is ahead of doc atm. Also wanted to give Ace a chance round. 1. Think he needs continuity plus his importance to our structure. Have ash as sub as much as i want him out there.Gives us an x factor plus his versatility. Loving our depth atm. Blacky has to squeeze in there also.

He's a senior list player so can play seniors without needing to be promoted.

Somebody has already answered you so I won't re answer for you but I will apologise for the behaviour of some of my fellow Lions posters towards you if you were genuinely asking a question about Mayes that had nothing to do with fantasy AFL. I hate it when I go to other opposition boards to find out about a player and they presume it is a DreamTeam related question. I don't even play fantasy football. If you were asking in regards to DreamTeam though than next time try and keep it to that thread so it doesn't clog up our other threads

It was a genuine question, he has been talked about being ready to come straight in and play all year so I was curious as to why he hasn't been playing. I didn't know he had been injured. Thanks for answering. Also whats happening with Jared Polec, haven't seen him around?

He's had a few niggling injuries late last year and earlier this year. He came back and played a reserves game last week. The Lions are trying to build his fitness base again after a few restricted pre seasons.

Nah disagree, the Lions were putting out all sorts of signals they view him as pretty much a ready made senior player.

As per what the other guys said, some of the assistant coaches were talking him up in the preseason. Definitely sounded like they were paving the way for a Round 1 berth.
