Moving back to the topic of this thread, would anyone be interested in James Sicily if he slipped to our 3rd rounder? He makes things happen. He's very Schneider like, plays through the midfield and is a live wire up forward.

the way they have treated them is pretty cut throat. maybe a bit of a rift between a section of the playing group and coach

probably, although i think we should also be a bit ruthless. cannot keep all of the older blokes, only 3 retired. some should be traded or delisted.

Did you get this from TheAFLOffSeason twitter account? If the answer to that question is yes, we can safely assume Dusty is on the verge of leaving the club.

With the club looking like it has a good chance at getting 2 defenders this year I'm beginning to think that any of Fisher, Dempster, Gwilt and Gilbert are reasonable trade targets. Dempster probably less so, but he is nearly 30 and wont be at the club when we next make a run at a flag, same thing goes for Fisher. While Gwilt and Gilbert are younger they will still be well into 31 by September 2018.

We wont trade them all cause we need to keep some experience around, but I wouldn't be surprised if we see 1 or 2 of them go if we get the right offer.
