Very happy. We needed a mature KPD and Delaney was the best available, reckon he is a better player than his brother just needs to not have any more injuries. Lol at North getting upset about us taking him when they didnt even take him with their first rookie pick.
Given how many injury prone players we have Delaney I could see getting elevated early next year if he stays fit.

I must admit I am surprised we took another ruckman after the talls we took in the trade period but Read is a good development player, has real ability.

Jermaine Miller-Lewis was one I was hoping for at some point.

Dirty now that Hawks picked him up. Will probably become a superstar.

Glad to see that we have rookied a young ruckman. He is obviously very raw, but as an 18 year old, we can afford to let him develop for a few years before having any expectations of him playing in the AFL. Given Simpson's on-going back problems, and our recruitment of mostly 2nd ruck/forward types, the list definitely needed a young guy who can play first ruck in the future.

Can't believe no one picked up Petrenko. Wasn't he very unlucky to get delisted in the first place? Must be some off field issues there.

Yeah, I was surprised by that too. Thought he had the best chance of all of them, what with his tremendous VFL form and all. I guess whatever downside of his game was preventing him from getting games at Geelong, and ultimately led to him being delisted, was seen by other clubs, as well.

If we got a second Irishman, one would have to move onto the Cat A list so, as sarah.13 mentioned above, one more spot- if we wished to grab a player- but can't be an Irishman.
