Armo + 40 + something for 12
I went to a BBQ on Saturday night and I was talking to a couple of Dandy Stingrays people, and we got onto the subject of Tom Lamb. They reckon he has turned into “a really good kid”. They said he has settled down as the year has progressed and has really matured, so I no longer think the preception of him being a bit undisciplined is going to effect his draft position. (Only going by what I have read, a lot of the cricicism was to do with him being slack at school when he was 14-15-16 years old.)
Lamb ran second in the 3k time trial at the Combine in 9.45 (beaten only by junior 800m champion Hiscox) so for a guy of his size to run that fast, he must surely have been training the house down. I couldn't imagine him running that quick if he was slack or lazy like some believe.
I have read that a few people on here aren’t too keen on him, but it sounds like he has really grown up this year and he should turn out to be a very good player. If he is available at our second pick I hope we take him.
(I also heard that of Lamb's Stingrays team mates, Jack Lonie has been interviewed by three clubs - one of them being St Kilda - and Bailey Dale has been interviewed by twelve clubs - not sure if the Saints are one of them or not.)
Until he updates it to include the FA shuffling its meaningless...Pick 13.
Let the rumours flow like they did last year for Eli! Reality is that's what it would take IMOTake the something off and do the deal.
I 2nd thiswould love him at the saints!!!
Get the Cockatoo!Take the something off and do the deal.
I would almost drive him to the Cattery for that.SEN reporting that Geelong have enquired about swapping pick 21 for Rhys Stanley.........?
Apparently Saints said he is a required player.
Wow! Sounds like fair compo, but we cant afford to lose/replace him perhaps
Whilst I agree in principle, in reality they're all hype at the moment; who knows how they'll go at Senior level...Cockatoo is too much hype and not enough production for me. De Goey/Weller/Duggan have actually played more than 1 good game in the last year.
I agree. I haven't kept up with the entire thread but please tell me the hype on him didn't start because he ran really fast in that goal he kicked?Cockatoo is too much hype and not enough production for me. De Goey/Weller/Duggan have actually played more than 1 good game in the last year.

After they are about to secure Mitch Clark? A much better version of Stanley. And with the return of Vardy, they'll be well stocked for forward/ruck talls. Surprising request.

And 10 in another, and 7 in another...But that's why you need as much evidence that they can play before you select them because that gives you the best indication that they can make it at the top level.
If we were picking players off 1 game then we should select McKenzie with 1 because he once kicked 16 goals in a game.![]()

Cockatoo I like, but I'd be just as keen on the other three.Cockatoo is too much hype and not enough production for me. De Goey/Weller/Duggan have actually played more than 1 good game in the last year.

Hypothetical #29837728 based on trade rumours from the last 2 pages:
Stanley to Geelong - pick 21
Armo & 41 to Richmond - pick 12
Pick 1 + 22 to GWS - picks 4 + 7 + 19
Lose: Stanley, Armo, picks 1, 22 & 41
Gain: picks 4, 7, 12, 19, 21
