I believe there is a set formula, and it's tied to the size of the contract. I'm not sure if awards and accolades play a part or not.

it is either after the club's pick or at the end of the round. so the picks on offer are

1st round (after your pick)
end of 1st round
2nd round
end of 2nd round
3rd round

which one you get is determined by the afl formula which takes into account the size of the contract the player is going to recieve at the new club, and the player's age.

Where's there's smoke there's usually fire, IMO.

He's a shadow of the player he was circa 08-11 so I don't know who'd be into him, but this sort of stuff doesn't just come from nowhere
