Thanks I think you know my view on it. Hopefully you and @Drugs Are Bad Mackay can come to a solution.

There is nothing saying you can't have it as a trial basis to test the waters, this way you get the best of both worlds. No definite decision and a trial of it in place.

Opposition supporters have every other thread to comment on so it's not like they are being excluded from discussing about anything about their club or ours. I think it's great others come on in here and comment it gives us a diverse view and gives us an insight about other clubs.

A lot of the clubs have a thread exclusive in place. In fact if you try to open the thread it won't allow you to enter because of the club you support.

1) we were not xenophobic towards Victorians, we were not allowed to enter the draft until 1993.

2) the statement wasn't the point, it's the fact they accuse the entire Adelaide Football Club and everyone involved as being racist. The fact he was a coach at the club first, has been lost on them.

Maybe older supporters can comment but I was told SA boys were picked always ahead of kids from other states.

I struggle to remember any 100% Victorian kids on our list in the 90s.

No, not true. Everyone was played on merit from my understanding.

We didn't have very many Victorians on out list until about 1995 as we were not allowed to enter the draft until 1993.

Vardy is a good Centrals boy. SA born and breed.

Jason McCartney, Stewart Wigney, Tom Gillian, Matthew Connell (from WA), Shane Ellen were not from SA in the early days.

Keep this thread as a thread for everyone so that the petty squibs like our feral little brothers down the road have a chance to scream and shout why their shoulders are sore from carrying such large chips.

However......

Create a new Crows Only thread where Crows fans/members can have meaningful discussions about topical subjects that quite often get derailed by overly sensitive princesses from other clubs.


This allows those who wish to discuss AFL with open minded individuals from around the league an outlet to do so, while giving those among us with allodoxaphobia a refuge to unwind and cuddle in a warm, safe environment.
