There was footage of that Lyon thing. A bit obscured but looked like nothing. The lady sitting next to the bloke was looking the other way and didn't even turn around during the supposed 'outburst'

But it was alleged that he was grabbed at the throat. There would have been plenty of witnesses who saw that surely. I dont think its something you could make up.

Of course you can make it up. The camera is off Ross for maybe two seconds and nobody seems to bat an eyelid. I doubt even one word of the spectator's story is true.

Can you imagine sitting at a game and having a brain snap, slapping a coach on the back as he walked past and he blew up at you. You would be CRINGING with embarrassment. Slip away quietly, hope no one you knows recognises you, hope tv cameras didn't capture it. So apologetic to the coach.

Instead he goes on radio and bleats about it.

Why would a Freo supporter make that allegation, its a serious one to make and there is PLENTY of people who would have seen it.

I reckon it was the typical bullshit people pull when they think they're in the right at the start of their sentence, before realising they're a tool and trying to spin the sentence to make them seem less of a dick.

I was actually commenting a few weeks ago while watching a match that I'm amazed the coach can actually walk down the race past fans - often opposition fans - in this day and age.

I can't imagine that happening during a fiery soccer match!
