Going to be a warm race. You'll see brake tyre and gearbox issues. So Redbulls should be really strong, Volvos, mercs and nissans to break down. Might rain late.
Wonder how F1 legends, the late Aryton Senna and Alain Prost would've gone if they raced in the same car at a Bathurst 1000? Same applies to Sebastian Vettel and Mark Webber.

Leaking it now creates the most opportunity for the public outcry to change their mind. If their not going to change their mind, then they (and their yellow bellied fans) deserve all the s**t their gonna get.
Ford race car fans made Ford. Sure Ford couldn't ever keep up with Holden and relied on rule changes to remain competitive, but their fans still had to come to the party and spend money on mediocrity.
Because Premat is just as quick as some of the full time drivers.
Ritter has definitely gotten the raw end of the deal, but for GRM to have a competetive car that would stand a chance of winning, Premat is the best Co-Driver McLaughlin. He knows his way around the circuit too, he got into the Top Ten Shootout last year.

Great intro
As a Holden fan and someone who has absolutley no love for the blue oval. This would be devastating to every single V8 Supercar fan. A very sad day when Ford leave the competition. To be honest if there's not Ford then my interest would be almost gone.
Yep I'm in the exact same boat. I wish they still had Shell as a sponsor though.
Team Penske #22 Ford has Shell as its major sponsor. Would be amazing if they jump on board next season and go with one of their old liveries

definitely, murphy beat the record last time it was resurfaced and i have no doubt they will get into the mid 2:05s at least during the shootout.
