Wood is clearly a rebounding defender more so than Enright and Butler

Takes a bucket load of intercept marks...probably stops a lot of forward thrusts that way

I'm out, I use to love this game and concept but it clearly has gone down hill.

The GST concept has just about done me in as well. I'm now forced to trade players I don't want to trade, despite being a mile under the cap and the maximum list size. How on earth can you build a list with so many restrictions? That's part of the attraction of the game, building a list to see how it compares with other attempts.

I don't even have an issue with a minimum GST component, but to apply a maximum on the basis of there's only a limited amount of GST players going around to be shared between teams, is just ridiculous, especially when clear ruckmen of the likes of Shaun McKernan and Jonathan Giles are getting knocked back as tappers. What else could they be?

What's even more annoying is that I tried to have a relatively balanced list before hand and suddenly find myself with automatic GST classifications. This somehow includes Rhys Palmer as a goal kicker, who's kicked less goals in his career than he's played matches.(110 games, 82 goals) However it now takes me over a pre-determined limit, meaning I have to forcibly trade players I want to keep or have them automatically delisted.

I've also got only 24 hours to trade those players, after waiting for days wondering if my bids on opposition players have been successful and losing bids because of extensions to players who haven't logged on. Despite it being frustrating, that I could understand as I realise that real life has to take priority.

I agree with everything in this post (except the opening statement).

I think it's easier and more suitable to just penalise the scores of players who are clearly named out of position rather than go with the GST restrictions, which I don't think will change anything anyway.
It's not right that someone who's made every effort to have a well balanced squad is now penalised because others haven't
