Callum Twomey's 2015 phantom draft

THIS year's draft has been one of the most challenging in years for experts to predict, with both the even spread of talent and the distribution of picks in the top 10 making it tough.

Here is how AFL.com.au's draft expert Callum Twomey sees the first 30 picks panning out, including the impact of the new bidding system. Be sure to click through all the links for exclusive stories and video telling the stories of this year's crop of young talent.

After the top 30, keep reading for Cal's club-by-club rundown of how the remainder of the draft could pan out on Tuesday night.

Weitering...McKay...Curnow...Tucker.................No problem.

We'd take McKay before Curnow? Is he really going to slip to 14 anyway?

And i don't see why we'd take Tucker?

They really need to stop using this picture of Clayton Oliver

Apparently we're hugely into him - was a top 5 prospect and bottom-aged AA last year. Definitely a long-term midfielder but looks a slightly quicker, cleaner version of Docherty - leadership and AFL-ready body, too. At 19/23 I'd be all over him.

Also re Curnow - on the basis Milera, Burton and McKay are still there it seems common knowledge that Curnow would last but McKay would not… hence the order. At 14, Curnow would be a steal.

There is also only 1 "live" selection between the two with the belief that the Crows would go with home grown talent (Milera) over a Vic kid who was just arrested. Sounds like a "Roughead/Franklin" situation where you select the player that the opposition would be most likely selection and hope to get both.

I'd prefer Bonner or Clarke to Tucker at our last and can't see Rioli or Ah Chee going that high at all.

Everything seems to be pointing towards us getting H McKay and maybe i'll have to learn to live with that. If that was me I'd lock in Curnow at #8 and then hope Milera slid to #11(#10) because I wouldn't flirt with losing out on Curnow, and if Adelaide snap up Milera we can look at Burton or McKay (or Clarke/Balic/Gresham/Hibberd/Donner, but thats just me)

with us adelaide melbourne essendon & melbourne all having two picks between 3 & 13 it makes it a bit of a game of poker as much as anything. will be very interesting

I'd probably personally rather Curnow/Collins or Curnow/Gresham but would be happy with Tucker at 19*.

Weitering - future CHB and start defender
Curnow - roaming CHF and part-time bullocking midfielder.
Collins - future FB and #2 to Weitering. Think JW will bring out best in him as he's done so far.
Tucker - outside mid with speed, efficiency and a balanced game. Also has leadership credentials.

I'm still line-ball as to whether Collins or McKay would be the better pick - but I'd 100% take Curnow regardless. Whilst I can see Crows taking Milera/McKay first, it's probably not the time to risk a guy who's probably top 5 on talent/potential.

Very surprised Ah Chee and Rioli might feature top 15...

Any possible collusion between us an Adelaide as part of our deal.

"We will give you Menzel, but you can't take curnow in the draft."

So you think that Carlton put Curnow up to being arrested? I mean the "Deal" wouldn't be possible without Curnow sliding, which only became a possibility a couple of days ago due to the arrest .....

You hit the nail on the head! With those players still on the board we would take McKay first. Also, I think Cal is a lot closer to the mark than Landsberger's with Fu.... I mean Tucker at 19. Seems a good mix, I like it
