Yes I know it's early but I figure we could all post them now then update as delistings/FA/trades/drafts happen. Good idea? Bad? Let's find out. So pick your 22 based on the list now, not leaving spots for draftees or expected FA's.

Immense second half of this season. Then again, Melksham did that once...

Quick, and capable of not only making the right decision whilst moving quick, but also executing the disposal. Hopefully he can keep improving.

Interesting teams people have chosen. Almost exactly the same as the team that played last night.

So how do we get better, with the same group? We need to, we weren't good enough to beat a 6th placed North. Carlisle and Fletch would have made a difference, but they had outs too

There will be changes. I would expect, and hope that the following players would push for selection - Melksham and Kommer - I think Hirdy likes both. Then Browne, Dalgleish, OBrien and Kav the next rung would have to be pushing next year, if still on the list, or they won't be the year after. Make or break for them. Should get some gradual improvement from Gleeson, Fantasia, Ashby, Hams and Edwards. Jury is out on all of them as to whether they can play. Other than Gleeson, who, while rubbish last night, will be a player.

If all those guys can push for selection, and play well, we can definitely take the next step

Don't think Fletch is best 22 next year. For team balance and speed Stanton out for the Merrett brothers rotating mids.

In my opinion:
Goddard plays his best footy in the back half of the ground and should stay there for the reminder of his career at EFC.
Lacking a real crumber with goal sense. Chapman is just a bandaid fix but we need to draft or recruit someone to fill this role.
Some continuity with Carlisle and Daniher forward looks to be very potent and with a preseason into TBC he should recapture his 2013 form
Fletchers role in the side next year is unknown as I think our defense is starting to gel for life after Fletcher. Like Chapman he's a bonus and if he plays on will play his role in big games and be managed through the season.

Noticable outs are: Melksham, Stanton, Howlett, Kommer

Melkshake, dalgleish, Jerret & kommer (if I recall correctly) with zerret and colyer already quite cemented in the side could be a huge speed boost for us!
(Of course were not play all at once just whoever fits well where)

Slash was dependent on if Licha plays on or not. If he does, Winderlich on the field Demps on the bench. If not Demps on the field Howlett on the bench.

Right you are, although you also said based on the list right now. I'm interested in the tough calls. It stops people listing a safe 22.

Melksham (He needs to either bulk up and become and inside midfielder or get back to his skinny ways, do some sprint training and improve his fitness. Could be a key to our success next year if he can become the quick outside player with a booming kick he was drafted as). Ill leave him out for now until those things are changed or improved over PS.

For me we need to be getting as many of Melksham, Merrett (x2), Gleeson, Colyer on the field and maybe add Kavanagh to that group, really his last chance.

Edit: Also add the Dagleish. Similar to Melksham.
