Where will we play the Dees?

Alice or Darwin?
Katherine or Tennant Creek?

Are they selling a home game again?

NT games are different as the club is happy to play up there to boost our memberships from NT...not so much in Tassie.

NT is a win win for us as you say with membership and also with the NT govt handing over 100k for us just going there

The NT govt I reckon never gave us $$$. If they did it was bugger all. We signed a 3 year deal which gave us a percentage of the matchday receipts. It was worth about $50k according to Haysman when he signed the deal. I dont reckon we are on the same deal any more.

what time does the fixture come out tomorrow? anyone know?
It was about 9.30am last year: presumably it'll be something similar tomorrow.

Fixture to be released 10.00 Eastern - 9.30 Central. AFL still releasing some details piecemeal, North Melbourne will have 3 instead of 2 games at Blundstone and will play Richmond there in round 6. Doesn't say whether we will play there. We have only played North once there and although the attendance was 10265 it was close to a sellout, The largest attendance there was 14113, when North played the Eagles. The stadium has been improved and capacity is now 20000.

From North Site - Port not playing there:

Round 6 – North Melbourne v Richmond, Saturday May 9, 1.45pm
Round 10 – North Melbourne v West Coast Eagles, Sunday June 7, 3.20pm
Round 20 – North Melbourne v St Kilda, Saturday August 15, 2.10pm

I wonder if playing them there against fellow Victorian sides is a testing of the waters for potential relocation.

Can't wait to find out who where playing, where, and when, so I can plan my weekends around them, and maybe make plans to travel to an away game.

Awesome news!!!

Getting to Norwood oval by public transport from Alberton won't be all that easy on a Sunday. The 150 goes direct to Norwood as the 140 but only on weekdays, on Sunday you have to change buses in town and take the H20, if you miss one it can mean a long wait and the whole journey can take up to 2 hours.

Guys sorry for the intrusion but apparently we host you in round 21 at Ethiad Stadium

Apparently its got something to do with the fact that Docklands missed out on a final last year and part of their contract is to schedule an extra fixture that has capacity to draw 40,000 in place of a low drawing fixture

Its only the second time weve played a home game at the stadium since 2006 (although second time in 3 years) and its a stadium despised by most of our membership (all our Victorian home games are otherwise at the MCG)

What's your record like at the stadium?

We have played there just a bit over 40 times and have won around 15 games.
