I'm sure he was dead against us wearing the state Guernsey and yet claims we've turned our back on our heritage. SA football needs to move on from this bloke, he's straight up irrelevant.

lol , people still read the sport section of the newspaper?
I don't read any of it at $365 a year.
I could nearly register my car for the same cost as reading a half a dozen articles a week on that Adelaide now site. Do they think people can't add up.

It's not the first time I've seen an article in the Advertiser where they've complained about the Crows not allowing them to interview Pyke. It's a bit petulant to be honest.Haha, I saw the little jibe at the end about Pyke not granting an interview with The Advertiser, can clearly see the motivation behind the article now!
Nah cornesy was for us wearing it.I'm sure he was dead against us wearing the state Guernsey and yet claims we've turned our back on our heritage. SA football needs to move on from this bloke, he's straight up irrelevant.
Something else is going on, I'm on 9.2 and no changeWell stuff me. I've just worked it out.
I guess iOS 9.2 won't let you stay logged in? I've never noticed this before that when you pull up the keyboard to relog in above the predictive text bar on the left it says passwords and auto fills your saved password.
Still a ******* pain in the arse though.
Nah cornesy was for us wearing it.
Suck a fat one Rucci. You lose.

Someone needs to let Cornes know that if the Advertiser replaced Rucci with a journalist, the crows would happily talk to them.
Yeah it was Bone that carried on like a pork chopi think you're right. I'm probably thinking of Bone. at least we tried.
Whatever, have you seen our 12 days of Christmas? Pure genius!Apart from the Don Pyke comment anyone that disagrees with Cornes has their head firmly entrenched in the sand. Port are killing us off the field.

Luckily though we have "chant school" and the "12 days of xmas" as our secret weapons.

ArsenalI thought we had a person fromc liverpool fc heading up our marketing team?
what a bizzare article. I'm not saying Port haven't recovered well, it just seems 12 months too late.
I still beleive we should be trying to create 1 bit of excitement (positive publicity) per week for the entire off season.
We needed to make a BIG DEAL out of the women's side and signing Jane Woodlands-Thompson as the best women's coach in South Australia and the fact that Brad Crouch being fit.
Back in August, September - the club should have been forward planning. Getting 1 or 2 player contracts activated, major or even minor sponsorship (Titan protein bars should have been pumped up big time), any other good news stories could be released as well. They should do it, just to keep the club getting spoken about in the media. Have out club getting spoken about and then make them work bloody harder to create their own publicity - instead of getting a free ride with a 1 year extension to two players who were never leaving and 1 girl who will never even play a game.
We gave them a massive free kick.
And it's not to entice the current member, they have made their mind up already. It's to entice that person who wants to enjoy football but has never gone to a game before.
Over the past 10 years, we have gone from being a very dominate force to breaking even.
