Well.. I personally think that Essendon shouldn't be allowed to participate in this year's season. If they are allowed to participate with made up players, the teams that play them 2 times get an unfair advantage and, if the suspended players are found not guilty and are allowed to play, it will be a farce.

The Port Adelaide Football club has confirmed Angus Monfries and Paddy Ryder will not play in any AFL sanctioned games until the AFL Anti-Doping Tribunal has handed down its verdict on players facing infraction notices.

Nah, I want to see the Essendon plastics get dicked by record margins and this whole farce to be a huge embarrassment to any SANFL player whose chosen to be associated with the drug cheats in the misguided belief that recruiters of real AFL teams will give a shit.
Not gonna happen. Why do you think the AFL put Essendon up against Melbourne, St Kilda and GWS in the pre-season? You don't think that was a fluke do you?
Sorry if this has been asked before, how do Essendon get to bring in other players from other leagues, when every other team has a capped number of players on their lists? What's to stop the crows from playing a promising player from the SANFL they may be interested in recruiting in round 1 NAB?

How much did demetriou and the afl pay hunt to sell drugs?
Basically the AFL have made a special rule bending over backwards to facilitate essendons 'innocent until proven' rights.
All of the players who were on the list when they had the drugs... i mean allegedly had the drugs... are refusing to play to protect the identities of those who have recieved infration notices. In normal doping cases there is a positive test and the athlete stops all training and competing from the date of the infraction notice and the presumption of innocence isnt granted because of the positive test. In the dopers... i mean bombers case since they want their penalties to be back dated to the date of the infraction notice in november they cant play or it resets the clock on their backdating.
If 12 (i forget the exact number who are still at essendrugs) players are inelligible for the nab cup then we all know exactly who they are (ryder and monfries anyone?)
The AFL has contractual obligations to meet so they cant have essendon not play, they made a special rule allowing them to raid rape and pillage...no wait i mean raid rape and pillage the lower leagues for their best players.
