Aswallow V BCrouch V JSteven V LNeale V DTyson please.
Crouch
Tyson
Steven
Swallow
Neale

Sutcliffe v. Pittard
Neither. Both are in that "I'd rather jump on late and cost myself 30k than take a huge risk and have to trade them out" category. IMO there's more chance of the latter.

JPK v Gibbs

B.Ebert v Boak (cheaper option allowing an upgrade in another area)
JPK by so incredibly far it's not funny. Boak.

Martin vs Goldy as my R1

Ryder vs NN vs Maric as my R2
Goldy. No-one to share with.
NN.

Personally I like the NN/Maric combo as R1/2

Pendles v Beams v Parker

Pick 2 & take price into account
Pendles for sure. So good. Beams will probably score slightly better than Parker but I'd be tempted to go Parker given he's 40-50 (?) cheaper. He should improve further this year, I wouldn't anticipate they'll end the year with much different averages

Sloane vs Danger. I was initially in the Sloane camp, beginning to waver a bit.

Depends.

Dangerfield went 118 in 2012, but in 2014 he had a period of 4 weeks where he went 577 @ 144.3, followed by a period of 7 weeks with 621 points @ 88.7...12 scores under 100 for 2014.

So really, if you don't start with him, you may not be able to pick him for a while when he goes bang (and his price shoots up)...but also you might be able to pick him up on the cheap when he goes through a poor scoring phase.

Sloane is rarely going to give you big scores, but he won't fluctuate in price much, so you won't be able to get him on the cheap...only 3 scores below 100 for 2014.

I've had neither, one and both at stages this pre-season.

Really, if you want to pick one, it comes down to do you think (are you prepared to back?) Dangerfield can go over 120 like he did in 2012 (10/22 games)...

Incidentally, if you don't rate Adelaides prospects in 2015...on statistics they might not be a good choice...if you think the Crows might finish top 4, then get on the bandwagon early!

2012:
Dangerfield: 2,062 points @ 121.3 in wins (17 games), 553 points @ 110.6 in losses (5 games)
Sloane: 1,793 points @ 112.1 in wins (16 games), 435 points @ 87 in losses (5 games)

2013:
Dangerfield: 1,074 points @ 119.3 in wins (9 games), 1,184 points @ 107.6 in losses (11 games)
Sloane: 1,149 points @ 114.9 in wins (10 games), 1,098 points @ 99.8 in losses (11 games)

2014:
Dangerfield: 1,229 points @ 111.7 in wins (11 games), 1,094 points @ 99.5 in losses (11 games)
Sloane: 1,384 points @ 125.8 in wins (11 games), 1,141 points @ 103.7 in losses (11 games)

Is this extreme, or are most players stats as wildly different between win/losses as these 2??

IIRC, Danger has started the last few years off pretty slowly and you could have picked him up cheaper 5 rounds in?

B Crouch vs Dusty?
Yep, Dusty for me too. No guarantee you'll want to finish the season with Crouch in your mids, but you'll definitely want to finish with Dusty in your forward line.

Perfectly justified this season with the plethora of forward rookies and if you believe your F8 will make more coin/give you better scores than your M11.

Has'nt Danger price been higher in past 2 seasons? So higher pricer higher b/e at hes current price i cant see him dropping to much imho.

Hurn + Salem
V
Ibbotson + Bellchambers (+FWD Ruck cover) *Edit - Actually I have 40k so I could spend $382k in Hurn's spot.

Kind of a no brainer now that i've said it out loud huh?

Cripps V Newton V NVB

I missed Tyson last year, it will kill me if I miss another Melbourne Mid that gets to 400k in a flash. I just have NFI which way to go. I think NVB is out that's all I know.

Yes it is a no brainer.

And why not save your money and go none. At least that way if one of them does happen to do a Tyson, at least you wont have been stuck spending 100K extra on the wrong one.

Yeah I know, it's tempting to get rid of two of them for cheaper options. Maybe downgrade Hurn to Ibbo and turn TBC into a Goddard, and give up on the ruck cover as well. I've been switching around for a while.
