Jelwood vs Pendles vs Fyfe.

Normally Pendles would be a no brainer but feel it'll be possible to pick him up 30k cheaper down the track.

I know this will make some laugh, but who will make more money by Round 10; Hogan or Garlett?

Pendles should always be 2nd lock behind Ablett. Nothing's changed.

As for Hogan v Garlett (MELB?) Hogan: 65avg will net 178k.
Garlett: 75avg net only 105k.

Sloane v Ward

I suspect Jellwood will be the highest sc scorer this season. Fyfe tends to find ways to miss matches and, although he's remarkably consistent, Pendles rarely gets the massive scores the others do.

As for the other question, I'm certainly not laughing. Garlett's been in my team for weeks. Hogan hasn't been and is unlikely to be added.

cmon hoddo, that's incorrect.
2013: 9 scores 130+ Incl 6 150+

2014: 11 scores 125+

Fair enough, I stand corrected. :)
For some reason I always think of him as mr consistency ... always churning out those 120-135 scores. That's not a criticism btw ... it's his strength. But those figures show he also does occasionally push up much higher. I still think Selwood will outscore him this season though. I have them both in my team.

I have both also. If he cuts down on those sub 100 scores (He had 6 last year v Pendles 2) he can certainly match him.

I'm sure you aren't the only one, I remember a lot of people not considering him as Captain last year for the same reason. The thing is, he is so consistently at such a high level, you just don't notice it as much when he goes huge because it's still only 20-30 points better than his average

M Clarke v N Cockatoo... roughly same price... JS puts Clarke in front, but Cocky looks like he will tear it up...

Probably cant have both @ $170k.

Thoughts?

With Hawkins taking the number 1 defender, Clark should get a pretty easy run.

Why are you comparing a MID (Cockatoo) to a FWD (Clark)?

Because he can probably move a Dusty, Deledio, etc to make the "best" rookie selection

Oh right...I thought it might have had something to do with not wanting to have 2 expensive rookies from the same team or whatnot

I think people are getting a bit greedy when consistent 120's are considered disappointing.
Yes, it's always a bit strange to watch people during the season agonizing over whether to accept a125-130 from their VC ... lock it in every time.
Pendles is a regular in my team and he's never disappointed. Gazza did when he barely averaged over 100 post bye in 2013, but never Pendles.
