Swan as a forward doesnt have to get back to the 120 averages. Even if he could average 100 ish that means he is still worth taking.

His problem might be that Talia is finally being given an opportunity and is playing rather well also. I'm not sure they will take Roughead, Talia, Morris AND Hamling into Rd1. If I had to guess, I'd say Hamling may be the one to miss out. Desperately unlucky, couldn't have done any more than what he has. Let's hope I'm wrongYes, in fact he had done enough after NAB2.
He probably can't be considered a lock for R1, but would be desperately unlucky if he missed out.
I currently have him at M6, similar thinking to you I am guessingI'm tempted to start Bonts at M5 as a cheap mid pricer.

Nah. The casual SC'ers will still be all over him.I never thought Swan would be a POD, after last night it looks as though it's now a chance.
Pies fans, what do you think about this theory? He's never adapted to the interchange cap. Seems to me he used to be untaggable because he would Sprint like mad for a few minutes, rack up a few possies and then rest using Kicks revolving door of interchanges. With less rest on the bench, he can't guy run like that anymore. If that's part of the problem, he won't get back to his 100+ average.
Will a 100 average be enough as a forward in 2015??Swan as a forward doesnt have to get back to the 120 averages. Even if he could average 100 ish that means he is still worth taking.
You don't pay $460k odd for a stepping stone.Will a 100 average be enough as a forward in 2015??
Remember, you're not chasing an average, you're chasing the top 6 defenders, top 8 mids, top 2 ruckman and top 6 forwards.
Will the following finish higher than Swan at years end?
Gray
Harvey
Deledio
Bartel
Goddard
Buddy
Dusty
Chuck Zorko, Bonts, Bennell, Ziebell, Smith and Dahlhaus in the mix too.
Swan should be selected as a stepping stone IMO, not as a season long keeper, unless you think he'll end up in the top six. Looking at the list above, I doubt he will.
Agree to disagree, reckon he'll average ~105 which will be enough for top 6. He has never taken the preseason stuff seriously and even though he did some ok things in bursts, was largely anonymous and still racked up 88 points. That's why I don't have him in my side. He won't be a top 6 forward. IMO he won't be a top 8 either.
Looks like they put on Robinson instead.Tom Mitchell subbed on?
On now.Tom Mitchell subbed on?
