Why would you trade Griffen after one game, how many players better then him have gone through a season without a sub par score.

What are you going to do if he comes out and outscores Treloar this week which is a distinct possibility.

He will outscore Treloar for the remainder of the season, Treloar chucks in high scoring games but also low scoring ones.

I get the feeling that after this round this thread will be owned by the people who are trading this week.

No sense to trade out a premo after one round

Why would you trade Griffen after one game, how many players better then him have gone through a season without a sub par score.

What are you going to do if he comes out and outscores Treloar this week which is a distinct possibility.

Griffen looked terrible, waited around for a handball instead of chasing his own ball, he's going to cop the tag every week while treloar is alot less likely to cop the tag ( griffen & ward first in line for it)
It may come back and bite me in the ass, but only time will tell

I think Griffen is still just getting used to a new team, shouldn't take too long for him to be back to his best and should still be capable of topping the ton before then.

Was always first tagged at WB, so I dont think that will worry him too much.

Valid point, I guess that's why this is called regrets/vent.. I'll give the griff another week, beers on me if it pays off I guess

Dropped mcgovern, treloar and docherty before the start of the round

took martin and wells

If it's any comfort, Angry Wells is pretty good and he's likely to be that for a couple of weeks at least.

Taking out Docherty for Taylor at the last minute not looking good for me atm.

This is the points breakdown within the sc app. Pretty peeved with the ruckmen scores of round 1. I had Mumford as captain and he had 28 hit outs to adv. no idea what the go is but so far a combo of TBC and the burger would of been great if the scoring does continue like this.

There's 140 points alone.

Only had 17 ho/adv which is still a pretty high number (85 points).

I haven't heard much of the new rule with the rucks. But don't they lose points for hitouts that are not to advantage?

I've read that they lose a point for ho/disadvantage but not from CD themselves, they haven't stated anything about losing points.

I can see Griffen getting tagged to death against Melbourne again this week.

Melbourne are a great tagging team despite people always crapping on about how their star mid will have a picnic against them.

I've read that they lose a point for ho/disadvantage but not from CD themselves, they haven't stated anything about losing points.

I remember 2 years ago when I had Griffen in the final round of SC and Melbourne did a number on Griffen and killed him.

Can see the same thing happening again this week.

Unless it's a ruck and you think the score changes will be like R1 every week. You'd be mad to keep two super premo rucks. You are paying so far overs that you'll be behind everyone else in upgrading elsewhere.

I'd love to pull the trigger on Maric > Blicavs and fix the Ibbotson mistake. I also realize that they may just tweak a few things and those 140 games could be back as early as his week. As it seems like they're scoring the same as last year minus regular hitouts he would've scored 117. Perfectly happy to pay $600k for that.

I doubt they will "fix" anything as I don't think they consider anything broken. Too soon to consider Ibbotson a mistake, could come out with a 100+ this week.
